The Stubborn Architect and his Searching Son

The Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang and the ski slopes at Yongpyong are layered with memories of my late father — and with regret (The Globe and Mail).

My family used to tell me that when we moved to Canada in 1993, I knew five English words: boy, wash, room, ice, cream (six if you count washroom). Despite feeling embarrassed and scared in my new home, Montroyal Elementary and its teachers became a safe space to learn and grow (Maisonneuve).
